After a decade honing my skills in audit and tax, I transitioned into dental insurance, where I spent 13 years at Delta Dental of Virginia. Throughout my tenure, I played a pivotal role in shaping the company's strategic direction and driving growth initiatives. I spent 8 years as Director of Strategic Planning and Business Development.
Armed with an MBA, I moved to leading the clinical professional services team, where I oversaw a multitude of initiatives aimed at optimizing operations and enhancing efficiency. Notably, I guided my team through a seamless system transition, ensuring minimal disruption to our services and stakeholders.
While leading the clinical professional services team I oversaw the transformation of our clinical claims review process. Leveraging innovative strategies, I streamlined operations, resulting in a significant reduction in the number of claims reviewed while increasing cost savings for the company.
Despite the challenges posed by external factors such as COVID-19 and system transitions, I navigated our network through periods of uncertainty, fostering resilience and driving continued growth.

With a background in electronic engineering, Greg transitioned into a career as a Business Systems Analyst, where he accumulated over 25 years of experience. In this role, he served as a crucial link between business operations and technical functions, providing invaluable operational and strategic support.
His expertise lies in troubleshooting complex issues and leveraging in-depth relational database knowledge to enhance operational efficiency and drive strategic decision-making. Proficient in SQL, he excels in generating detailed reports for both operational planning and financial analysis, aiding organizations in achieving their business objectives.
In his latest role, he supported utilization management for insurance claim adjudication, further honing his skills in process optimization and data analysis within the healthcare industry. Additionally, he was instrumental in assisting with the implementation of AI within clinical claim review, providing both efficiencies and cost savings.
Prior to his time in the healthcare industry, Greg worked 15 years for a printer manufacturer in several engineering support roles.
